YOUR DAILY DRIVE

One football challenge, a different finish

The daily football challenge gives every player the same starting clock, score, field position, timeouts, and seed for the current UTC date. Coach Harbor against Summit for one offensive possession. The goal is to finish ahead; a tied score does not count as a win.

Each date selects a situation from 20 original setups. Some drives call for a touchdown comeback, some start tied, and others ask you to protect a lead. Starting settings can recur on different days, but each date has its own seed. The challenge refreshes at 00:00 UTC.

What makes the daily challenge fair?

Players who make the same sequence of calls from the same starting seed get the same outcomes. Different decisions can lead to different results. The decision grade assesses the available choices before the outcome, so it rewards the quality of your calls rather than just the final score.

Results, replays, and the next daily

Your first completed daily result is saved in this browser. Resetting a played drive creates a practice replay and leaves that first result intact. Copy your result after finishing to share the score and decision grade. There are no accounts or public leaderboards, and clearing browser storage removes your saved progress.

Need a refresher? Read the complete rules and clock-management guide. For extra practice, create a custom football situation with a different clock, score, or starting position.

The comeback

2:00 left, down 4, your own 35, two timeouts. A field goal is not enough: build a touchdown drive while preserving time for the final plays.

No timeouts

0:45 left, down 3, opponent’s 45, no timeouts. A field goal only ties. Decide when a boundary throw is worth more than an in-bounds gain.

Protect the lead

1:15 left, up 3, your own 30, one timeout. Keep possession and manage the running clock. Avoid giving away the ball while trying to close the game.
